I ended up pregnant
At the age of 18
If I can’t take care of myself
How am I going to raise another human being

I thought about my options
And what I was going to do
I thought for a long while
And that is when I found you

I dealt with all my family
And the people talking mess
But the day I called you
It was an instant relief of stress

I knew it wouldn’t be easy
The thing I was about to do
I was going to put my baby with another family
But the question was, “with who”

With you guys that wasn’t a problem
You helped me with through it all
And if I ever needed anything
All I had to do was call

Thank you guys for everything
You all hold a special place in my heart
And the service your provide to girls like me

A mother’s love is enduring the laughter and the tears.
